Predictive Text.
I started this project out by trying some thing new, I used the predictive text feature on my iPhone. I started making patterns by switching between 3 options of text that is generated by the software in the phone. I started out by using the pattern 123, 321, 312 and so on, which would generate different sentences each time. I tried adding in another variable, by using different phones or iPads. This resulted in completely different combinations based on what the phone user had commonly typed on their phone. After compiling each sentence, I took the words and illustrated it onto a 14×17 Bristol board with ink. I made the effect of the lettering to show how the predictive text and text messages are fleeting and go away over time. You forget about what you texted last week, and think back a year ago, do you remember what you said in a text to your best friend?
